Trim and Turf

The trim is defined by all components you can see within the room. This includes turf, wall padding, curtains, netting, screen and hitting mat. Items such as screens come in a variety of sizes and qualities that contribute to the appearance of the projected image. Wall and ceiling protection can be done with heavy blackout drapes, overhead netting or custom vinyl covered padding.

Turf

Turf is available in green and black depending on your preference and can have contrasting trim turf strips on the sides to design the perfect look.

Strike mats are turf that can be installed in any dimension and serve as the hitting area. You can use normal golf tees as the turf blades mimic a real ground feeling.

Wall Padding

Panels of wall padding are available for side walls and ceiling of the simulator interior and provide a sleek padded look to the sim. These panels can be custom cut to fit any space and come in a variety of colours of vinyl wrap to add a personal touch to the room or structure. They also provide great sound acoustics when using the space for theatre purposes.

Screen

The screen is one of the most important pieces of any golf simulator. It must be durable enough to receive shots whether you’re a professional long driver or just working on your wedges. All while providing a sharp projection image to take advantage of the high resolution technology.

We install our screens to be tight to the ground for mis-hits and the perfect elasticity to receive shots while maintaining rigidity and longevity.

Netting

Overhead netting is best used in a space where the simulator structure is built standalone. Most commercial spaces benefit from using netting. This will cover the entire hitting area and is hung tight from the structure.

Side Drapery

If the simulator dimensions don’t fill the room or you want retractable wall protection; the best option is to outfit the sides with heavy blackout drapes. This is also a great option for simulators with a total width of 12ft or less as you can choose which side to have the drapes fully extended. We all have friends who live close to the hosel, so make sure they aren’t intimidated by open walls.
